It’s Monday, and that means I was on the Twooting.com podcast today. If you haven’t heard about them, Bo and Ryan put on a daily podcast all about Twitter. They are funny and helpful, and their show is the bees knees.
Today, I talked about setting up your Twitter account to send and receive tweets as text messages. That’s right! If you have a regular cell phone and text messaging through your cell phone service, you can tweet mobile. Just make sure you know your cell phone plan’s limit on text messages so you don’t get a big bill surprise.
I’ve got the details about the setup in my Twitter Mobile blog post (the one before this one). Here’s the live studio broadcast of them making the podcast this morning. If you are looking for me, I’m on the phone, and not in the studio.
Tune in every weekday at noon EDT (that’s 9 am here in Phoenix) and laugh while you learn the latest Twitter news and tips for users. Follow them on Twitter @thepodcast.
If you have missed a show (or two), you can download them or listen at the Twooting website, or you can get them from iTunes. In fact, you can subscribe on iTunes for free!
